This supportive seven-week course combines comprehensive antenatal education, practical preparation and effective hypnobirthing tools.

Session 7 (Online): Birth-partner session To be scheduled with the group nearer the time. (90mins max).

Preparing physically and emotionally for birth

Induction of labour
Assisted birth and caesarean birth
Understanding benefits, risks and alternatives
Recovery from interventions (physically and emotionally)

Session 3: Birth rights and confident decision-making
Your choices, rights and consent
Using the BRAIN decision-making tool
How to advocate for yourself
Creating flexible birth plans
How birth partners can advocate effectively and birth partners role.
Session 4: Birth & first 48 hours

Third stage of labour
What happens immediately after birth & mum and baby checks

£249 per couple, including the pregnant parent and one birth partner.
