🤱 Antenatal Classes
When should I start antenatal classes?
We recommend starting around 24–32 weeks, but we can be flexible depending on your situation (especially with multiples, where early delivery is more common).
What topics are covered in antenatal sessions?
You'll learn about:
Labour and birth options
Pain relief techniques
Birth planning and your legal rights
Partner support strategies
Preparing for the fourth trimester
Caring for your newborn(s) from day one
Can my partner join the sessions?
Absolutely. We actively encourage partner involvement—they’re a key part of your support team, and our sessions are designed with both of you in mind.
🧘 Hypnobirthing
What exactly is hypnobirthing?
Hypnobirthing is a combination of hypnosis, mindfulness, and evidence-based birth education that empowers women to approach childbirth feeling calm, confident, and in control—regardless of how or where they give birth. It works on changing your mindset in a positive way to approach ANY birth or parenting situation with a feeling of being calm.
Is hypnobirthing suitable for parents expecting multiples?
Yes! Hypnobirthing can be incredibly helpful if you're expecting twins or more. It helps you stay calm and grounded, whatever your birth journey may look like.
How is your hypnobirthing approach different?
My training was from a Hypnobirthing teacher and Hypnotherapist, this allows for true Hypnobirthing education for all of my expectant parents. The length of the course is the minimum a hypnobirthing course should run for for people to realistically and comfortably apply it to their situations and change neural pathways for a positive impact on birth experiences. I understand that there are cheaper and shorter online courses available, and with the cost of living crisis it could be tempting to save money, but please be mindful these are only a quick snapshot of hypnobirthing techniques and may not give you that birth experience you can feel good about. These may not allow for your mindset to make the changes it needs to, or be personalised to you or even ensure that you can be truly calm and confident in any birth or parenting situation.
Our courses are designed to make changes and be effective.
Our 1:1 sessions are bespoke and evidence-based. We blend the core hypnobirthing techniques with practical guidance tailored to your birth preferences, medical circumstances, and emotional needs.
